Indications of a dental implant
The dental implant is indicated for replacing a tooth or for supporting larger prosthetic works such as dental or dental prosthesis on implants. Any patient who has lost a definitive tooth is a candidate for inserting a dental implant. The insertion of the implant can be performed in the majority of patients, and the intervention is not recommended in very young or very old patients (people with severe healing, over 90 years of age), patients with heart disease or other associated serious diseases are excluded.
